At the Social Progress Imperative, we make sure that difference makers around the world have access to the very best data to guide social investments and track success. But the global movement to advance social progress isn’t just about data. It’s about moving from Index to action to impact, tangibly improving the lives of everyday people.
From the academic pioneers on whose work we’ve built to design the Social Progress Index to the NGOs that use our data to change lives, our growing success would be impossible without the contributions of visionaries from all parts of civil society.
From April 24-26, we’re bringing nonprofits, universities, think tanks, faith-based groups and activists together with government officials and business leaders at the What Works 2017 conference in Reykjavik, Iceland. Here are three reasons civil society change-makers won’t want to miss this unique opportunity for growth and collaboration:
1. Hear firsthand how our partners use the rigorous framework behind the Index to convene stakeholders, hold governments accountable, create real impact and secure sustainable funding to fulfill their missions.
2. Learn how to use the Social Progress Index to help identify gaps, define priorities, target innovations and change policies in your own field.
3. Discover new opportunities for collaboration in the Social Progress Imperative’s growing network of Indexes and initiatives, and connect with government and business leaders to build partnerships that will meet society’s changing needs.
The What Works conference is all about bringing together diverse stakeholders to take on our world’s biggest challenges. We want you to bring your unique perspective to this conversation and help to build a better future.
